Ways of working

A scope tailored to your organisation

Entrust SEM with the complete project, its manufacture, the modernisation of existing equipment or only its measurement chain.

Scope of work

Choose the right starting point.

The scope is defined around the skills already available within the customer’s team, the maturity of the technical file and the expected result. SEM can start from an incomplete test objective, a finalised design package or existing equipment requiring an upgrade.

A project may start from an intention, a drawing package, existing equipment or an instrumentation requirement. SEM’s scope adapts to what is already available.

Start from the requirement

Turnkey test bench design

This service is designed for companies that know what the test must demonstrate but do not necessarily have the internal resources to define and build the equipment. SEM turns the need into a specification, then into documented and accepted equipment.

Build-to-print test bench manufacturing

We support engineering firms, integrators and industrial companies seeking flexible manufacturing capacity. The scope can include machining, welded fabrication, pipework, mechanical assembly, wiring and the inspections defined in your technical file.

03 / UPGRADE
Start from existing equipment

Test bench retrofit and modification

Before rebuilding, we assess what can be retained: frame, circuit, actuation, sensors or enclosure. The work is then limited to the functions that are genuinely required, with particular attention to existing interfaces and documentation.

Automation, instrumentation and data acquisition

The level of automation is selected for each project, from operator assistance to repeated sequences or fully automated tests. SEM selects and integrates the sensors, interfaces and acquisition functions required, directly or with specialist partners depending on the architecture.
